Buchanan Arms changes hands: The Buchanan Arms Hotel, Drymen, Stirlingshire, has been bought from the Guy family for an undisclosed sum. The takeover will take effect from January 15. 1973. The sale of the hotel marks the retirement of the Guy family, formerly owners of Guy's Restaurant, Hope Street, Glasgow, from the catering and hotel business to which they have belonged for almost 50 years.
