Boost for Polish Vodka.

During the International Food Exhibition in Glasgow the firm of Arkinson Baldwin & Co. (Scotland) Ltd., arranged a buffet lunch in St. Enoch Hotel to which personalities from the Trade were invited.

Atkinson, Baldwin are distributors of Polish Vodka throughout Britain, and among the guests at the lunch were ladies and gentlemen from Poland, including Mrs. Wanda Moscicka, who visited Scotland from Warsaw on behalf of Agros, the organisation responsible for marketing Polish vodka and other products throughout the world.

The lunch was held basically to enable Agros representatives to meet some of their Scottish customers, who had the opportunity to sample many interesting varieties of Polish food and drink.

Our photograph is of guests at the lunch, who were left to right: Mr. W. Maxwell Nixon (Arkinson, Baldwin); Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Crombie (Sproule's Glasgow); Mr. J. I. Anson Russell (director, Atkinson, Baldwin); and Mrs. and Mr. M. E. Taylor (Stevenson, Taylor (North) Ltd.). 1972.

End.
